Don't Ever Stop

If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Don’t ever stop. As the late great Dr. Martin Luther King shared, keep moving at whatever speed it takes.

These words resonate with me as I glimpse over my last year. Another book, first podcast feature, a job promotion and other door openings - God is indeed good.

Progression is not easy when you have to do a little work on the front end. It’s not easy when you do not see the results of your seed sowing and planting. It’s extremely difficult to see how God is good when God is silent. When you are looking for His hand to open the doors, not realizing he is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

But during tough, lonely and quiet times - I want to remind you - the seeds you have sown are taking root. You can’t see a seed germinating underground in the dirt. You can’t see the process taking form. But that doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Oh but what a harvest to come from one tiny seed!

The discouragement comes into play when we don’t see a harvest. Our momentum stops when we get discouraged. And once we lose hope, our momentum stops.

I’m talking to the woman who is reading this.

Don’t ever lose hope. Don’t ever stop your momentum. Don’t ever get discouraged. Your seed is working in the unseen.

Personally, this year has been a ride of victories and silent battles. From promotions and books, to testimonies yet to be revealed - I never stopped or quit. The focus may have shifted, but I declare the destiny is still mines.

And for you, my friend, the destiny is still yours as well. Whatever God has promised you - I say it is for you. Whatever God has laid on your heart or the purpose He is revealing in you - it’s still yes and amen. God just requires one thing: that we keep putting one foot in front of the other. Hebrews 10:36 shares:

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

It’s beauty looking from hindsight, but looking into the unknown can be daunting. But we are not without hope, and we are not without God. That is a beautiful promise I want to share with you today.

We are not without hope, and we are not without God. Don’t ever stop.
